Prisca sapientia — epistemic foundation of Paradigm Threat
Timeline article: Prisca sapientia (content/00.overview/00.01.02-prisca-sapientia.md in paradigm-threat-timeline).
Prisca sapientia (Latin: “ancient wisdom”) names the default assumption behind Paradigm Threat investigations and reader-facing articles: the ancients possessed a vast, profound understanding of the universe, nature, and theology that was subsequently lost or degraded. Later institutions—especially modern consensus science, licensed medicine, chronology, and state-aligned history—are read as often wrong, incomplete, or captured, not as automatic upgrades over what came before.
This is a historical and philosophical stance, not a claim that every ancient text is literally correct on every point. Investigations still tier evidence (primary, secondary, author thesis, speculative). Prisca sapientia sets which direction the burden of proof leans: when old and new conflict, degradation and redaction are live hypotheses, not crankery by default.
What it implies in practice
Recovery, not nostalgia. The work is to reconstruct what was lost—pyramid function, terrain medicine, chronology, cosmology, soul science—using archaeology, witnesses, Fomenko/New Chronology mirrors, anticontagion experiment archives, and cross-linked dossiers. The goal is not to freeze the past but to recover usable truth modernity buried.
Anti–chronological snobbery. C. S. Lewis’s chronological snobbery is the error of assuming the latest fashion is truer. Paradigm Threat inverts the default: novelty must earn trust against a prisca baseline.
Compatible threads in this repo. Terrain vs germs (Béchamp, Roytas), pyramid shelter/hospital until the 11th century, Rus–Horde chronology, ætheric disease, captured technology (well → utility, ward → metered medicine), Flexner gatekeeping, radiation cure suppression, and prisca sapientia as the umbrella that explains why those lanes belong in one project.
